2nd Annual Knit for Life Planning Meeting

Last year's Knit for Life event was a huge success. And now, it's time to start planning our 2nd annual Knit for Life chemo cap knitting event! We will be meeting on Wednesday, April 1, 2009 at 6:00pm to plan the event. Volunteers and committee members are needed, so please attend if you'd like to lend a hand! Call The Nest at 848.2444 if you plan to attend.

Also, if you can't make it to the meeting, but you'd like to be involved in planning this year's event, please call the shop - we'll find a way to use your talents!!

This Ravelry sensation, which originally debuted in Knitty, fall 2004, is knit on the bias, and looks stunning when knit in variegated yarns. See photo below for the Clapotis that Diana's daughter, Abby, knit in Twisted Sisters Jazz (Grenadine colorway). This finished project can be seen (and petted, and modeled) in person at The Nest.
